Thanks for you comments. I use a Yeti blue mike (usb connection) which is very easy to use and good quality, and not expensive on Amazon. And I use Garage Band on a Mac, and that's pretty straightforward, too. Nothing too complicated, and yet it works well.

Great tips. Thank you. The audio quality is very good and I'm curious about what equipment you use. I've been thinking of starting podcasts for my blog.
